Dubshed 2018

Written: February 2022

It's hard to believe it has been four years since I've set foot in the Eikon Exhibition centre just south of Belfast. Dubshed has always been one of the first events penned in on my yearly calender but due to a few different reasons, most notably an infamous pandemic, it's been four years absent from my schedule.

Delightfully, in just a few weeks, that's going to change and for the first time, I'm hoping to exhibit my own car in the show too. The hashtag #dubshedprep has become a bit of Irish modified car folklore and now I'm beginning to understand the panic and strain on the pocket.

It's been fantastic to watch the growth of this show over the past number of years, from humble beginnings at the old Kings Hall site to the Eikon, a purpose built exhibition centre on the now historic grounds of MAZE prison.

The GTINI team, who I now consider good friends, have put years into building the show and brand to what it is today, Ireland's largest & premiere indoor car show. No easy task but it's always been worth it and I think this year it'll be enjoyed more than ever before.

Tickets are on-sale now so make sure you head over to dubshed.com to purchase yours. I've no doubt that this years show, the 11th edition of Dubshed, will be an absolute cracker.

While 4 years have passed since I last set foot in the Eikon, I only have to wait 4 weeks to enjoy it all again. It'll be the first show for my new E30 and I can't wait to cruise up the M1 on Friday evening to help out with show setup. I already know it's going to be good.
