Frank Keane BMW Cars & Coffee 2022
The annual cars & coffee event hosted by Frank Keane BMW has easily become one of the most relaxed and enjoyable mornings of the year, a chance to take the 318IS for a spin with the promise of a good cup of coffee on arrival.

A car that instantly caught my attention was this Alpine White E28 M5. Aside from the E30, the E28 is right up there with my favourite shape of classic BMW, the shark nose has become a bit of a cult classic.
The same guy also owns this equally as stunning E34 M5, it too finished in Alpine White. I believe this one has just 17,000 miles on the clock and with super rare, original, turbine alloy wheels, it's a proper unicorn.
This event is always a good chance to oogle over Mr Keanes own personal collection with the M1 taking a deserved pride of place. This M1 was bought new by Mr Keane in 1981 and has been part of his collection ever since.
The most surreal experience of the whole morning was bumping into one of my old BMW E30's. The white 316i was the first car I ever owned, bought with a bank loan while working part time during my first year of college. I daily drove it for a year and made many great memories - it's still the car I've the most sentimental value in.
It was a cool moment to get all three E30's I've owned together for a photograph. My 318IS on the left, my 1st car in the middle and my previous 318i, now owned by my father, on the right.
Some other notable mentions from the morning include a stunning 'Alpina Green' Alpina B10 Bi-Turbo. The colour on this car popped so hard in the sun. Stunning.
