The Goal

Windsor.ie is a core element of the Windsor business model. A re-design in 2023 has allowed Windsor to target a fresh appearance and transition to an industry leading ecommerce platform. This end-to-end solution is primarily designed to help consumers source their next new or used vehicle with ease. The solution incorporates tailored search functionality, online vehicle valuations, online finance applications and live consumer engagement elements.

The current journey is too cluttered and confusing and asks the consumer to navigate through multiple different areas (new, used, offers) within separate silos (Nissan, Renault, Opel).

Improve new and used search by displaying both on the same vehicle listing page.

Include EV specific filter options.

Utilise instant payments such as Google and Apple Pay. Dynamic, secure application forms with ability for instant credit decision.

Vehicle Listing Page

The goal here was to display new and used vehicles within the same vehicle listing page. This will allow the customer to shop by budget instead of by brand or location. Should the customer be interested in a vehicle at €250/month, they can also browse similar vehicles at the same price point, both new and used.

Consideration was given to the vehicle listing tiles with changes made to improve UX and promote clicks through to the vehicle detail page. Clear and concise wording on price and features along with the use of iconography provide a meaningful experience for the end user.

Vehicle Detail Page

The primary function of the vehicle detail page is to offer the end-user the opportunity to submit an enquiry or obtain a valuation on their trade-in against the vehicle they are interested in. This page was designed through multiple iterations to create a clean and transparent spread with clear call to actions above the fold.

Interactive functionality allows the end-user to configure a finance application and tailor the monthly rate to suit their needs. This is offered as a secondary element on the page.

How Are We Measuring Success?

With a primary focus on creating enquiries, the success of Windsor Groups transition to a new website will ultimately depend on an up-take in lead generation. As this project has not launched yet, (target September 2023) an increase in data has yet to be tracked.
